~stressed~

Well, I am finding myself in the throws of a divorce...unfortunately, I am not at all surprised by this, it should have happened years ago :(. So, at this time I am frantically looking for a job to help support my 4 kids. Preferably one I can do from home so I do not have to leave my 2 year old with a caregiver as well as go back to school full time. I have decided I finally need to get that degree I never received because I got married, had kids and supported him for the past decade. Oh well!!!
To say I am stressed is a complete understatement but we will make it. I truly have felt each and every prayer from my family and friends and know that my Heavenly Father has blessed me in many ways...thank you. The fact that I am FUNCTIONING is a true testament to that.
I will continue to keep this blog, as crafting and redoing furniture is a wonderful creative outlet for me. I'm just not sure how often I will post. Who knows, I may actually find I have more time when my stress level subsides :).
Anyhow, thank you and if anyone happens to know of a great job opportunity, please send it my way!
Thanks, April

  4. It is tough going through things like this but trust me, I've been there and something better always comes out of it even if it doesn't look like it at the time. I will be praying that the doors open for you and your family and know something good is coming your way. Hang in there :)

  8. I have an idea of how difficult this time is for you...even if it is for the best. Stay close to Heavenly Father because I know he answers prayers. We are never given things we can't handle.

  9. April,
This happened to me over 20 years ago and I can say that it took me a couple of years to get back on my feet. Luckly I had a degree and could support myself and my daughter because I was a teacher. This will show you that you are stronger than you ever imagined. I will say a prayer for you each day, and know that everything happens for a reason and GOd has opened a door for you, keep your eyes and heart open.

  10. Bless your heart.... I've been down that path twice.... The first one after 21 1/2 years of marriage. I was a stay at home mom with no career....or even a job prospect.... But, I made it... I thought I'd have to live under a bridge, but God took care of me through it all and it everything worked out fine.... I'm sure it will for you too. Divorce is always a tough row to hoe, but have faith.... You're going to be OK...

    Big, comforting hugs,
    Spencer
